DETAILS
Audemars Piguet Tourbillon in yellow gold, reference 25643BA. In 1986 when this watch was first released, it was the first automatic tourbillon and until recently, it was also the thinnest. The watch features an open tourbillon escapement and bumper winding mechanism seen through the dial aperture at 6 o’clock. The unusual dial design is thought to have been inspired by Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s carvings. This model was produced in 401 pieces (360 of which in this specification) across 6 years. Overall the watch remains in excellent original condition with light scratches and no signs of recent polishing. The watch is in working order however the service history is unknown and therefore is not being sold with any mechanical warranty.
