The 2021 Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin Limited Edition for Revolution & The Rake. These watches were limited to only 12 pieces and sold out very soon after release. The classic design features a sector / scientific inspired dial that has been given a contemporary twist. This superb gold-toned dial decorated using a sunburst finish on the centre and opaline finish behind the chemin de fer. The pronounced sector dial is thereafter formed with the hour circle, chemin de fer, small seconds subdial and logo decals in slate grey. The large applied Breguet numerals used for the 12, 3 and 9 hour markers are solid gold appliques that are ruthenium treated to match the rest of the dial elements.

The stainless steel case has a 40mm diameter (10.70mm thin) with an exhibition back showcasing the beautifully crafted LF calibre 116.01 manual wind movement. This high quality movement boasts a free-sprung balance wheel with the Breguet overcoil balance spring and Laurent Ferrier’s long-blade ratchet system. The long-blade ratchet system features a bar with a spring retention on one end and a pawl finger on the other. When you are winding the watch, the ratchet wheel can, therefore, only be wound in one direction as allowed by the pawl finger.

The watch has been worn under a dozen times from new so remains in excellent condition. The watch is photographed with a custom ABP leather strap. It comes complete with its original box, paperwork, LF leather strap and additional unworn stainless steel mesh bracelet.
