DETAILS
This Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox from the late 1960s goes slightly under the radar in terms of rarity. Most Memovox Alarm watches were automatic, with far fewer produced in manual wind such as this example. The manual wind movement allowed for the case to be much slimmer giving the watch a more elegant dressier aesthetic.
This example remains in excellent original condition throughout. The classic Memovox silver dial with black inlaid silver batons and hands, featuring an inner rotating dial to set the alarm. The monocoque stainless steel case has a 37mm case diameter which was large for the period and in our opinion perfect size for this type of watch. It features JLC crowns, one for winding/setting the time and one for the alarm. The watch is powered by a manual wind JLC cal. 911 movement in full working order. The watch is fitted with a new generic black leather strap and JLC pin buckle.
