Cartier Paris Tank Louis Mecanique in 18k yellow gold, circa 1970. This watch features its original manual wind JLC base calibre 818/2 signed Cartier and numbered 2,10x,xxx. The original Paris-signed dial is in excellent condition and has the original blued steel hands. The case measures 30mm by 23mm which was gentleman’s size for the period and features crisp hallmarks/numbers which shows a lack of polishing and use over the years. The watch also features its original sapphire crown and glass crystal (which has a small amount of damage on the top right corner). The watch is complimented by a Cartier Paris leather strap and its original 18k yellow gold deployment clasp. Amazingly the watch appears to have only been worn occasionally over the decades and remains in excellent original condition.

Overall this is one the best examples of a vintage Cartier Paris Tank from the late 1960s/early 1970s that we have come across in terms of originality and condition.
